Herbs perennial; rhizomes long, elongated. Stems procumbent, unbranched or sparsely branched, slender, 10-15 cm. Leaves sparse, linear, ca. 20 × 1 mm, 1-veined, margin entire, apex acute. Inflorescences racemelike, with few solitary flowers; bracts linear or narrowly linear, 8-15 mm, margin rugose; pedicel 3-5 mm; bracteoles 2, similar to bract in shape, 5-8 mm. Perianth 5-merous, green or greenish yellow, tubular, 5-7 mm, divided to middle, lobes oblong, apex slightly incurved. Ovary stalk ca. 1 mm. Nutlet ellipsoid, with raised longitudinal veins; persistent perianth terete, as long as or slightly longer than fruit. Fl. Apr, fr. Jun.
* High-elevation scree slopes. Qinghai, W Sichuan, Xizang.
This species may prove to be inseparable from Thesium emodi.

多年生草本；根茎长，延展；茎平卧，长10-15厘米，不分枝或少分枝，细长，柔弱。叶稀疏，线形，长约2厘米，宽约1毫米，顶端锐尖，具单脉。总状花序疏松；花单生，绿色或绿黄色，管状，长5-7毫米，5数；苞片1枚，线形或狭线形，长8-15毫米，边缘粗糙；小苞片2枚，长5-8毫米，形状似苞片；花梗长3-5毫米，花被分裂至中部，裂片长圆形，顶端稍内弯；子房柄长1毫米。坚果椭圆状球形，有明显的纵脉；宿存花被圆柱状，与果同长或稍比果长。花期4月，果期6月。
产于四川（西部）、青海和西藏交界的唐古拉山区和西藏波密一带。生长于高海拔林区附近的流石滩上。模式标本采自唐古拉山。
