Plants 15–60 cm. Leaf blade oblong-ovate, 2–3-pinnatisect; ultimate segments linear, 5–13 × 1–2.5 mm, apex obtuse, mucronate, margins narrowly revolute, both surfaces glabrous. Umbels 3–9 cm across; bracts 5–10, linear-lanceolate, unequal, occasionally the largest one foliaceous; rays 6–20, unequal, sparsely puberulent; bracteoles ca. 10, ovate-lanceolate; umbellules more than 10-flowered. Petals glabrous. Fruit pale yellow when mature, oblong, 6–7 × 4–5 mm; vittae sometimes obscure. Fl. and fr. Jun–Aug.
Rocky crevices or grassy places on sunny slopes; 500–1100 m. Hebei, Heilongjiang, N Nei Mongol (Manzhouli) [Mongolia, Russia (Siberia)].

多年生草本，高15-60厘米。根颈粗壮，常呈指状分枝，并存留多数宽阔的枯萎叶鞘；根圆锥形，粗大，木质化，表皮褐色。茎单一或数茎，圆柱形，径3-7毫米，细条纹轻微突起，较平滑或有时显著突起呈浅槽，光滑无毛。基生叶多数，叶有柄，叶柄长3.5-9厘米，基部具卵状宽阔叶鞘；叶片轮廓为长卵形，长8-14厘米，宽2-4厘米，二至三回羽状分裂，一回羽片5-7对，二回羽片2-3对，末回裂片线形，先端钝尖，长5-13毫米，宽1-2.5毫米，边缘反卷，两面无毛；茎生叶少数，简化。伞形花序有长梗，花序梗粗壮，伞形花序直径3-9厘米，总苞片5-10，线状披针形，不等大，有时其中一片特大，呈鞘状或具叶裂片，有时有短毛，边缘白色膜质；伞辐6-20，不等长，有鳞片状毛；小伞形花序有花10余朵；小总苞片约10，卵状披针形；萼齿显著，披针形；花瓣白色。分生果长圆形，长6-7毫米，宽4-5毫米，成熟时浅黄色，有稀疏短毛，果皮肥厚，稍木质化，背棱粗钝，隆起很甚，侧棱翅状宽而厚；棱槽内油管1，合生面油管2，油管有时易消失。花期6-7月，果期7-8月。
产内蒙古（锡林郭勒盟东部及南部，巴彦卓尔盟）、黑龙江（满洲里）、河北等省区。生长于向阳山坡、干燥多石山地或草原区石质山顶。分布苏联及蒙古。
