植株高60—100厘米。根状茎长而横走，直径约5毫米，顶端密被棕色、披针形鳞片；叶远生。叶柄长约40—60厘米，直径约5—7毫米，基部密被与根状茎上相同的鳞片，向上禾秆色，光滑无毛。叶片长约40—50厘米，宽25—35厘米，卵状披针形，1—2回羽状。侧生羽片4—6对，互生，具长柄，披针形，长约15—25厘米，宽3—4厘米，顶端渐尖，基部圆形，边缘有向前伸的尖锯齿，顶生羽片与侧生羽片同形且等大。基部1对羽片分裂出的小羽片长约10—15厘米，宽约2—3厘米，基部具柄，顶端渐尖，边缘也有向前伸的尖锯齿。叶脉分离，两面明显， 侧脉一至二回分叉，顶端的水囊略加厚，禾秆色，伸达叶边锯齿的基部。叶片草质，上面棕绿色，仅在羽片中脉上具短毛，下面浅绿色，密被乳头状突起，乳头之上又生灰白色短毛。叶轴和羽轴禾秆色，光滑无毛。孢子囊群线形，沿侧脉着生，几达叶边。
产于禄劝、富民、昆明、易门、大姚；生于常绿阔叶林林下，海拔1500—2500米。四川、贵州、湖北、陕西、甘肃、河南也有。也分布于越南。

Plants 60-140 cm tall. Rhizomes long creeping, ca. 5 mm in diam.; scales brown, lanceolate. Fronds widely spaced; stipe straw-colored to reddish purple, 40-85 cm × 2.5-5 mm; lamina abaxially greenish, adaxially brownish green, narrowly ovate or ovate-deltoid, as long as stipe or shorter, 18-26 cm wide, 2-pinnate, herbaceous when dry, abaxially densely papillose, with a short and stiff hair on each papilla, adaxially glabrous or sometimes with a few jointed hairs. Lateral pinnae 3-6 pairs, basal pair of pinnae largest, oblong-lanceolate to broadly ovate, stalked, pinnate; lateral pinnules 1-3 pairs, lanceolate to broadly lanceolate, 6-15 × 1.5-3.5 cm, base rounded-cuneate or subrounded, margin with short, spreading deltoid teeth, apex acuminate or caudate-acuminate. Medial pinnae as terminal pinnule, lanceolate or narrowly lanceolate, 10-20 × 2-4.5 cm, shortly stalked, base rounded-cuneate, margin sharply serrate, apex long acuminate. Veins free; hydathodes slightly thickened, linear, extending to bases of teeth or slightly into teeth. Sori extending nearly to pinna margin.
Forests, rock crevices; 1000-3000 m. Gansu, Guizhou, Henan, Hubei, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Yunnan [Vietnam].

植株高60-100厘米。根状茎长而横走，粗5毫米，密被棕色披针形鳞片。叶远生；柄长40-55厘米，粗3-5毫米，禾秆色或下部饰有棕色斑点，基部略有鳞片；叶片几与柄等长或较短，宽18-26厘米，长卵形，二回羽状；侧生羽片4-6对，下部的有柄（长2-3厘米），羽状；侧生小羽片1-3对，长6-12厘米，宽1.5-2.5厘米，披针形，先端尾状渐尖，基部圆楔形或近圆形；中部羽片单一，和其下羽片的顶生小羽片同形，长10-20厘米，中部或中部以上宽2-3厘米，披针形或阔披针形，长渐尖头，向基部略较狭，圆楔形，有短柄；上部的羽片渐变小；无柄；羽片边缘有向前伸的尖锯齿；水囊细长，略加厚，伸达锯齿基部。叶干后草质，上面褐绿色，仅沿羽轴有短毛，下面淡绿色，密生乳头突起，突起上生灰白色短毛。孢子囊群伸达离叶边不远处。
产陕西（平利）、甘肃（文县）、湖北（巴东、房山）、四川（城口、南川、宝兴、石棉、甘洛、芦山、灌县）、贵州（平伐场）、云南（德钦、思茅、屏边、昆明、凤仪、双柏、篙明、弥勒、潞南）。生林下或石上，海拔1 000-3000米。越南也有分布。模式标本采自四川南川。
